| WOODY HUNTING PRODUCTS STEP-BOLTS are designed to be used with its highly acclaimed Convertible Hand Drill and Climbing Belt for hang on type stands. The basic principle behind the system is to use the bolts as steps instead of bulky and noisy strap on steps or difficult to use and time consuming screw in steps. Using the WOODY STEP-BOLT system all you need to do is drill (with a 3/8" cordless drill) holes in your tree(s) then simply insert the Bolt-Steps into the holes. If you take a mid-day break you can pull out your Step-Bolts as you come down. The Step-Bolts can be then taken back to camp with you. This lessens the chance of your stand being stolen. If you're like many hunters and have two or more stands hung, it's a simple matter to pull out your Step-Bolts and walk to your other stand(s). Keeping your Step-Bolts with you when you are not hunting gives you the option of a last minute decision as to where you will hunt. Here's how it's done. Scout your area; either scout or hunt, if you do both at the same time you'll do neither well. Locate your tree. Stand back several feet and decide where your stand will be, based on sun location, wind, shooting lanes, etc. Properly secure your Woody Climbing Belt to your waist. Drill your first hole (drill all of the holes at a slightly downward angle) an easy step up from the ground. The drill your second hole for the opposite foot a comfortable distance away on a diagonal. The holes should be spaced far enough apart (width), usually 90 degrees, so that no searching is required, especially when coming down in the dark. A general rule of thumb is to place your elbow against a bolt, extend your fingers and rotate your arm in the direction where the next hole will be. Where your finger tips end up is approximately where the next hole should be. Experimentation will probably be necessary depending on your body style and leg strength. Your alternating left/right Step-Bolts should run straight up and down. This is very important, make sure that your last Step-Bolt ends up level or slightly higher than the platform of your stand and ends with the opposite foot that you'll be using to step over to the platform. While you're standing on the ground drill all of the holes you can reach. Insert the Step-Bolts into all of the holes except for the highest one. Leave your cordless drill or hand drill and bit in the highest hole. Wrap the cord of the Climbing Belt around the tree and snap the hook onto the "D" ring. Climb up the Step-Bolts to a comfortable location where you can continue drilling more holes, repeat the procedure of leaving the drill in the highest hole, inserting Step-Bolts and climbing higher. WOODY STEP-BOLTS are LIGHTER AND MORE CONVENIENT than most other steps. Your Step-Bolts can be rolled up in apiece of cloth and tucked into your pocket or secured with a large rubber band or carried on your belt with the included carrying case. WOODY STEP-BOLTS are STRONG! Bolt Steps are grade "8" (150,000 p.s.i. Tensile strength) 3/8" diameter by 6" in length, socket-head cap bolts. The socket head is less likely to catch on the side of your boot and the coarse threads dig in to the top of the hole when pressure is applied by your weight. WOODY STEP-BOLTS are LESS EXPENSIVE than most other tree step systems. Please remove Step-Bolts after hunting, the holes will naturally seal themselves. This system will not kill trees. Removing Bolt Steps may prevent injury to forestry and lumber industry workers decades from now. Price $17.95 for package of 10 Step-Bolts which includes a camo Cordura carrying case. Shipping and Handling included. VISA and MasterCard accepted by phone. No C.O.D. orders please. Please make check or money order payable to: E-Z KUT E-Z KUT / Woody Hunting Products 1935 S.
